All around us are places we can hide No one ever comes here if we want We decide who stays who knows Maybe someday we’ll see Innovative reality Don’t pick me out ‘Cause i'll stop this where it stands And Oh I can feel it turning out All around us are places we can hide No one ever comes here if we want We define our place in this world Maybe someday we’ll be Innovative reality Don’t pick me out ‘Cause i'll stop this where it stands And Oh I can feel it turning out (2X) We can start on our own (Light at the end of the tunnel waits) And hope that we last Instead of knowing now You still ignore me Trying to find if there’s any use Of this I can take (save it) I don’t want anymore (save it)

Don’t try To explain the second side There’s a little bit there that seems to be missing So tell yourself That you’re a little bit depressing I know that I’ve been addressing More from out of you I feel the rain upon my face (Never thought that I could feel this way) Changing the ways we could have made And don’t you see This is hurting me I’m not sure what to do now There’s someway to find out What we’re made of God it’s what we live for It’s our calling Shadows what we are We really don’t have that far Don’t try To detain what’s deep inside ‘Cause I’ve taken enough it hasn’t been easy So tell yourself That you’re a little bit depressing I know that I’ve been addressing More from out of you I feel the rain upon my face (Never thought that I could feel this way) Changing the ways we could have made And don’t you see This is hurting me I’m not sure what to do now There’s someway to find out What we’re made of God it’s what we live for It’s our calling Shadows what we are We really don’t have that far Don’t turn to the light cause We really don’t have that long I want to know I want to fly Couldn’t be the one for me And we’ll stop this where To see where you end God it’s what we’re made of (made of) It’s our calling Shadows what we are We really don’t have that far

I’ve explained the reasons why I’m leaving It feels like we’ve lost touch It's like we’re both trying so hard to breathe in The last of what feels like hope Just the size not to reach in Bodies fold torn in lines Just the size not to Bottle all the answers I’m all out of love Never said it’d be easy To Share the love between these Stubborn walls ( maybe we pushed a bit too far) Our trust is cost Defend the lines of destiny Satisfy the pointless needs It’s almost over To justify the reasons why we gave Just the size not to reach in Bodies fold torn in lines Just the size not to Bottle all the answers I’m lost and all out of love And you’re tired of the world And you’ll figure out It’s always about your life Don’t let the sun go down on my head Just to be without you by my side Oh I can finally figure out Don’t ever say it’s my time to fold now I'll be holding out Just to see if you’ll crawl in my hands

Way of Life 04:16
Save this note forever Cause it’s the last thing that you’ll ever know And when you’re thinking of the times You regret the pointless fights That meant nothing How silly could we have been And oh I can feel the changes now It’s the feeling inside Tried to say i'd be there But it wouldn’t matter anyway she says, You know we used to be so close And it doesn’t have to be this way But I guess I’ve made too many sacrifices I can’t even remember A time that we were ever in love Because I mean it was like you had a secret But there’s nothing to hide It’s all in your mind And oh I can feel the changes now It’s the feeling inside Tried to say i'd be there But it wouldn’t matter anyway she says, You know we used to be so close And it doesn’t have to be this way But I guess I’ve made too many sacrifices Don’t hold your breath now Did I mention that you’re way too late Don’t use excuses to impress me You have no way out You’re just another mistake i'll learn from You know we used to be so close You know we used to be so close

about

Hailing from Northwest Arkansas, indie rock darlings Marca bring their listeners something old and something new. Within each track of their EP "Breathe:Pulse," you'll find the catchy choruses and driving melodies that attract you to bands like Circa Survive, Further Seems Forever, Dredge, and Brand New. However, these guys don't just settle for a familiar sound that will appeal to the same old crowd. They sprinkle in their own flavor and personality to bring something unique to the table as well.

Marca is made up of vocalist Layne Twist, guitarists Christopher Parker and Brady Cress, and drummer Eduardo Chew. Add to that stellar lineup of quality musicians the expertise of veteran bassist Arthur Green from the legendary Living Sacrifice and Eso Charis, and you have a winning combination of talented artists who want to both entertain and offer their empathy to you through heartfelt lyrics and moving soundscapes.
